| Allie has been a great sar dog and ambassador for both the German Shepherd Breed and for Search Dogs. She was the first certified dog on CTSARCAM. Due to health considerations, Allie has been retired from active duty, but will continue to serve as an ambassador for the SAR dogs at demonstrations, speaking engagements, and public appearances. RothCala's Alliegator C.D.CGC. dob 5-4-2000 Allie was bred and raised by Ben Alexander at RothCala Kennel. Allie is from working bloodlines, with many SAR, tracking, service, and guide dogs in her bloodlines. Allie was selected for her good scores on the puppy apptitude test at 7 weeks of age, along with other indicators of making an outstanding working candidate for SAR. Allie completed her CGC in Sept. 02, her Companion Dog title in Oct 02. Allie began training at 4 mos of age in obedience and agility. Allie also volunteered as a therapy dog with Aggieland Pets with a Purpose for 2 years and will resume her career as a therapy dog in Jan 06. Allie certified in March 04 with The Alliance of Search K9's (TASK) for Wilderness Air Scenting. Allie was also certified with Special K9's of the Woodlands in Intermed and water cadaver at the time of her retirement. |
