| Fanta is nationally certified with: NASAR as a Human Remains Detection K9 NIMS "other" and level IV T.A.S.K: Human Remains Detection K9 as of Nov 30, 2005 NNDDA for land cadaver and water recovery. Fanta is certified Intermediate with CTSARCAM for Land Cadaver Water recovery - Don Abney She also achieved Intermediate land and water recovery with another local team she is a former member of. Fanta is a female old Border Collie and started in training for human remains detection in the spring of 2004. She earned her Canine Good Citizen in June 04 and certified with Aggieland Pets with a Purpose for therapy dog work in January 05. Fanta was adopted from the Brazos Animal Shelter as a small puppy. |
